Dong Hong has been named Senior Vice President of Public Policy and General Counsel at Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). ETA is the world’s leading advocacy and trade association for the payments industry with nearly 500 member companies in 30 countries. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s direction and serves as the primary authority and advisor on policy matters affecting the payments sector. Dong has built a career marked by progressive roles in key legal, regulatory and policy focused positions showcasing his expertise in financial services, public policy, and legal analysis. Most recently he served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Financial Institution Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
