Kevin Slagle has been named Senior Vice President of Communications at the American Petroleum Institute (API). This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance API’s integrated advocacy agenda for its member companies and the oil and gas industry. Kevin brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, leading teams in creating and implementing extensive campaigns and outreach programs for some of the most challenging petroleum industry policy issues. Previously, he served as Vice President of Strategy and Communications at the Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA).
