Amanda Schwartz has been named Executive Director, Senate and Administration Relations at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is a national federation of 35 independent, community‐based and locally operated Blue Cross Blue Shield companies providing health insurance to more than 110 million people in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Nationwide, more than 1.7 million doctors and hospitals contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield companies – more than any other insurer. Most recently, Amanda was the Director of Congressional Affairs at American Society of Clinical Oncology.
